IS IT COVERED BY ACC FOR INJURIES?

Yes, provided you have a current approval from ACC

DOES IT HURT?

No. There might be a mild sensation as the needle is inserted, followed by a slight ache. Generally it is completely pain free.

WHAT ARE THE NEEDLES MADE OF?

I use single use stainless steel needles.

WHAT DO I WEAR TO A TREATMENT?

Comfortable clothes. You may be asked to remove an item of clothing or uncover an area of skin to access particular acupuncture points. You will be covered at all times.

HOW LONG IS A Session?

Usually from between 45 minutes to an hour.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A Session?

Whether you are coming in for injury help or an ongoing chronic problem, it’s important we discuss your overall health, at times going deeper into the questions. This allows for a more refined diagnosis to ensure the most appropriate course of care. The acupuncture method uses fine needles at points over the body. These will be left in for a minimum of 20 minutes, but more likely half an hour. There may also be massage, cupping, moxibustion, and discussion on dietary therapy. You are left to rest for a period of time. some even fall asleep during this time as it is generally relaxing.

HOW DO I PAY

AS a small business, I do not provide EFTPOS services. Payment may be made as cash or via Internet banking.
